Christmas Traditions and Give Away

This is Little Bumble's 3rd Christmas.

He is very excited about the lights and ornaments on the tree and actullay helped us decorate the tree.

He has learned a few Christmas songs including Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. We have watched several Christmas cartoons together including A Wiggly Christmas, Little People Christmas, Mickey Mouse Choo Choo Express and Mickey Saves Santa, and Little Einstein's Christmas Wish. He has seen Santa Claus at least 5 times so far this year and is not scared. He rode the Christmas train at the mall. I am trying to find some more fun family traditions. I found some Christmas Story Blocks that are really special. Little Bumble helps stack them as well as name the characters of the story. My Honey and I took him to walk The Road to Bethlehem at Wesley United Methodist Church where we saw the live nativity scene and pet the donkey, goats and camel. We made some crafts and baked cookies at the hive.

Now I ask you to share your family Christmas traditions and fun ideas for a chance to win a Christmas frame.

Christmas Card

Our family Christmas photo for 2009 taken by my Sister at the McFaddin-Ward house.

This photo did not make our card but I love it!

Christmas Decor' and More

This will be Little Bumble's 3rd Christmas. Here is his ornament this year from Mommy and Daddy.

I decided to change our tree this year from red and gold with all glass ornaments to candy garland, plastic ornaments and color lights. This is our Christmas card photo. The photo was taken by my sister and she gave us the ornament, too!

Little Bumble had a Santa bubble beard in the tub.

These blocks are very special. Little Bumble loves blocks and he helps tell the Christams story as he stacks them up and then knocks them over!

What the Buzz is All About

I was encouraged to write a blog. Many friends have them and I enjoy reading them. Almost one year ago I joined Facebook. Posting pictures, stories, videos and recipes has been fun for me.

So why bumblebees? My little boy's favorite Disney Baby Einstein DVD is Baby's First Sounds. The main puppet is a bee. We have found many books with bees including Tumble Bumble by Felcia Bond, We're Going on a Nature Hunt by Steve Metzger, Time for Bed by Mem Fox, Dr. Seuss's ABCs and Mr. Brown Can Moo to name a few. His favorite treats include Burleson honey on cornbread and Honey Nut Cheerios cereal. We found a onsie from the Gap that said "I'm what the buzz is all about." He likes to dance to Laurie Berkner's Bumblebee song. He had a Buzzin' Birthday party when he turned 2 years old in October and then dressed as a bumblebee for Halloween.

Now, I am blogging about my Little Bumble and My Honey . I hope to print it out as a keepsake.
I also hope my family and friends enjoy reading my blog.
